Hello
We are a UK company that specialise in moulding Automotive PU foam seating.
We have developed a cost effective way to go from CAD design to moulded PU foam seat in around a week, this is ideal for development of new seating parts. We basically create a rapid mould tool from the CAD design and can then mould multiple parts from this mould, the parts can include inserts like wires, clips etc and can also be dual hardness. The mould tool can be easily modified and the moulded parts can be made to any hardness.
Traditionally development and prototype foam seating parts are milled from foam blocks, this is an expensive and time consuming process, especially if more than one part is required, also the parts cannot easily include inserts, the harness and feel of the part is also not to production specification.
We are keen to promote our rapid PU foam seat moulding process to Automotive seating designers, has anyone got any ideas of the best websites/forums/blogs to approach to help us do this?
Thanks for your help.
