Ford Visos Design Study
A significant project for Ford's European designers, the Visos concept is unusual as a Ford sports car in Europe. The last major Ford sports car was the Cougar and before that the Probe. Both were relatively unsuccessful. The Visos is a big part of improving the company's image in this respect and may well point directly to a production vehicle.

Although the car adheres closely to contemporary Ford design principles, such as simple, sharp lines and forms, it also has more than a passing resemblance to the first Ford Capri. The Capri was a very successful car for Ford in the seventies and eighties and the form and details of the Visos, such as side vents and bonnet proportions, have led to speculation of a resurrection.
